The biggest challenge of this page was finding a way to clearly communicate the audience's barbs and heckles without cutting away to show them. The black word balloons make a rare appearance here, not only to illustrate the vitriol in the comments from the audience, but also to easily set them apart from Pratt's dialogue. The big line of booing between the first two rows of panels illustrates the booing the audience does as Pratt takes the podium. It actually happens in the passage of time between panels two and three. Meanwhile, Pratt, as always, is completely full of himself and chooses to be oblivious to the insults of the crowd.

And, of course, I just had to get that Ratt reference in there. I don't even like Ratt (much), but how could I pass up that kind of opportunity?
