The final panel of this page gets me to this day, even after all these years. Stu achieves the impossible by rallying the Ninja Union. They're excited and motivated. (It must have been Stu's casual addendum about action figures.) It looks like the tables are about to turn.

And then he spots Evil Bad Guy Ninja, and it feels like the air, along with all the momentum Stu just built up, has been sucked out of the room. Where Evil Bad Guy Ninja goes, confrontation always follows. Stu doesn't have time for this, and without exchanging any words, the final panel brings the tension to a new high. Or, at least I hope it does.
